"Uh... Any idea where the cat went?", Daniel asks.

"Let me check," said Kiley. She closed her eyes and put her hands together in a circle. "He has wandered to the Tree of Death. We must away if we are to save him from a tragic death."
"We need to go...NOW!" yelled Ruka as she ran out the door.

Daniel runs after her.

"Where is my village.... It should be around here...", Dark mutters.

Suddenly a tree appeared out of nowhere. "Whooo darreeeesss disturbb the Tree of Death?" hissed the tree.

"Uh.... Great. Look, I'm just looking for my village, so if you could give me directions..."

Just then, Ruka, Daniel, Sally, and Kiley arrived at the scene.

"Oh, hey guys, I'm just... looking for my village."

"O, Tree of Death, spare this one," said Kiley. The tree looked at her.
"O, it is thee, Little One. If you wish it so..."

"Big whoop, I've climbed this tree earlier, or was it the Tree of Life.... They all talk the same..."

The tree looked at him. "But I may still kill you. We talk that way to scare those who are not worthy...I may still kill you..."

"To tell you the truth, I'm not scared of a tree. I climb them to steal eggs, and to sleep. How could a stupid tree harm me?"

Kiley glared at Dark. "Have you no respect for the Ancients? This is Kalas, the eldest of the Ancients. He guards our village from evil by killing it."

Dark shrugs. "Well excuuuuuuuuse me, princess!"

Daniel facepalms. He had left an old cartoon on, and Dark had obviously heard it.

Kiley stood still and stared at Dark. She started to say something.
"What are you saying?" asked Sally. Ruka ran over to Kiley.
"Shut up! You curse him, and I'll tell everyone in the village our secret."
Kiley grinned at Ruka. "It is done."

".... Wait what.... Just.... happened?", Dark asks.

Ruka sighed and held Dark's hand. "You've been cursed with never being able to find true love. By the way...our secret is...." she whispered in Dark's ear.

"Uh.......... A bit awkward, but, is there a way to lift the curse...?"

Ruka blushed. "I'll let Kiley tell you that."

"Kiley? What is the way?", Dark asks.

"I can tell you but you must promise me something first."

"Promise you what...."

"Find my pet. Then I'll tell you how to break the curse."
"Kiley, that's not fair! Even you can't find him!"

"What is your pet...?"

Kiley grinned. "A phuthulu. The rarest of the rare animals. Her name is Lilith, and she only answers with this," she said as she handed Dark an ocarina.

Dark looks at it, then grins. He plays Epona's Song, then waits.

"I really shouldn't play Zelda during work hours...", Daniel mutters.
