The Genie.

Hmm.... In an old antique shop, that could be the starting setting... The genies cannot force someone to love, bring back the dead, or become immortal... And of course, saying kill. I think that you get infinite wishes, until you die.

So yeah, he requested me to post the thread.

Someone finds a genie in an old antique shop, and the genie is bound to them for life. They can not make someone love them, bring back the dead, or become immortal.
If the master says the word "kill", they become the genie immediately. I'm not sure how the term goes fully, I'll have to check.
..So yeah. Neko-san can start, since I don't know what he's think of exactly.

An old man cleans the antique shop, carefully avoiding a dusty old oil lamp.

There is the chime of a bell, as a young teen walks through the door of the store. Staring around at his surroundings, it's just what he expected it to be like. Old and dusty.
"Uh, excuse me." He said to the old man. "Have you got anything suitable for a gift?"

"Well... What kind of gift were you looking for, exactly?"

He seemed to think for a second, looking around the store.
"Something that can make a light. I've got a family member that's afraid of the dark and I'd thought something like that would be a good nightlight. Or something like that."

The old man looks at the lamp nervously. "I have a few lava lamps..."

"That should be alright. Could you go get one please?" He asked.

The man nods, going to go look for one. As soon as he turns his back, the lamp falls down, clattering loudly.

The sound make him jump slightly, and as he investigated the source of the sound he found the lamp on the floor. Picking it up off the floor, he went to place it back when he realised his fingers were covered in dust from the lamp. Wrinkling his nose, he wiped his hand across the lamp to clean the dust off.

Instantly, a teenage boy appears in a puff of black smoke. "Greetings, Master.", he mutters.

"HOLY SHIT!" he yelled, at the boy's sudden appearance.
He dropped the lamp, staring at the boy before speaking.
"..Who are you?"

"I'm Dark, your genie."

The old man drops the lava lamp in surprise.

He just gaped at the boy. Slowly he turned his head to the man.
"You.. Know, anything about this?"

The man nods. "He's yours now...", he says, backing up.

"..All..right..then..Can I have the lava lamp still?" He said, reaching into his pocket for his wallet.

The man nods, going to get another. "It's $20.", he says, picking up a new one.

Taking a twenty out of his wallet, he passes it to the man, while exchanging it for the lava lamp.
"Thanks." Reaching down to pick up the oil lamp, he gestured to the man. "So do I keep this?"

Outside, he stared at the somewhat dusty oil lamp.
"This is crazy.. I somehow got a genie, apparently."

"That would be no fun, would it?"
